Version 4.9.4 is now available and you’ll need to update manually
WordPress is great, we love it here at Align. Known for it’s strong community and thousands of developers working together to constantly improve the software and pave the way for the industry. Every now and again, bugs can slip the net. This one is deemed severe, but the solution is really really simple, so fear not!
As with all WordPress updates or new plugin installations, we can’t stress how important it is to take a quick backup. It takes 5 minutes maximum for this extra for this precautionary measure and it could save you a whole lot of time if something goes wrong.
Once you’ve taken your backup, just log into the WordPress admin area and from the dashboard you should see it nice and bold at the top; WordPress 4.9.4 is available! Please update now.
Follow the simple steps on screen and you’re good to go. If you’re a customer of Align on one of our Websafe Protection packages, you don’t need to do a thing.
